Ways to Support RVA Vocations Care
RVA Vocations Care is dedicated to supporting all religious vocations, regardless of where an individual may be on their vocational journey. This includes priests, deacons and their families, seminarians, and religious brothers and sisters. Our vision is to help those who are called by God flourish in their vocation
while strengthening the future of the Church for generations to come.
Through both spiritual and financial support, we will support individuals at any stage of their vocation's journey—from those discerning a call, to those in formation, to active clergy and religious, and even those who have entered retirement after years of faithful service.
In addition, we place a strong emphasis on Community Care, fostering connections between the faithful, the parishes within the Diocese and those who have dedicated their lives to serving Christ and His Church.

Build a culture of responsibility with Catholics across the Diocese to spiritually support and invest in current & future vocations.
Educate on what formation entails, seminary/ religious life, sacrifices involved, challenges and celebrations of vocations
WAYS TO SUPPORT
There are many meaningful ways to support vocations within the Diocese of Richmond. Consider volunteering your time, starting a vocations ministry in your parish, encouraging someone discerning God's call, or making a financial gift to help care for our priests, deacons, seminarians, and religious. Together, we can strengthen and sustain those who faithfully serve our Church at every stage of their vocational journey.

Prayer is a powerful way to support those who have answered God's call to serve the Church. We invite you to pray for all vocations within the Diocese —including our bishops, priests, deacons, seminarians, religious sisters and brothers, and all who are discerning God's call.
No matter where they are in their vocational journey, your prayers provide encouragement, strength, and hope as they faithfully serve Christ and His Church.
